THE CHALLENGE
Among a number of challenges, some of them are as follows,
- To scan the person without surrounding noise.
- Remove unwanted scanned data from “.Obj” file.
THE SOLUTION
- To scan a person without noise, we have added a customized bounding box that can be adjusted or scaled before the scan starts. This scans only that portion which is within the bounding box and much unwanted scanned information is skipped.
- As we scan the person, we observe the floor at the bottom as it also gets scanned in the selected bounding box, so our algorithms trimmed the unwanted scanned data and created a new mesh file that is used for further use.
