Attending Autodesk University (AU) 2024, The Design & Make Conference, in San Diego was an incredible experience for ProtoTech Solutions. As a leading CAD, BIM, and manufacturing solutions provider, we always aim to stay at the forefront of technological advancements. This year’s event gave us the perfect platform to network with industry professionals, explore the latest in design and make technologies, and showcase our cutting-edge work.
One of the highlights of our experience was participating in a key session on Leveraging Manufacturing Data Model APIs for Sustainability Impact Analysis and Writing Back to Autodesk Fusion. Additionally, our team had the privilege of connecting with Autodesk Platform Services (APS) developers, exchanging knowledge, and deepening our understanding of how the latest APIs can revolutionize workflows. This interaction was invaluable, as it allowed us to exchange ideas and insights on how to better integrate our solutions with Autodesk’s platforms. The discussions emphasized the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and sustainability in design and manufacturing.
The conference concluded with a stellar general discussion featuring Raji Arasu, Autodesk’s Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, whose insights left a lasting impact on all attendees.
In this blog, we’d like to share our journey at AU 2024, focusing on how the discussions and sessions are shaping our approach to sustainable design, API-driven workflows, and the future of digital manufacturing.
