THE PROJECT
ProtoTech launched 3 exporters on Onshape platform namely, 3D PDF, WebGL & OBJ Exporters. Aim was to export Part Studios & Assemblies from an Onshape document into these formats and also to show the expertise we have in the Onshape platform.
THE CHALLENGE
Onshape did not have a regular payment plan for consumables. Running and managing all network related problems remained a major challenge and at the same time a source of inspiration. We would need to resolve the problem of network failure.
THE SOLUTION
- We executed ACID properties and solely got confirmation from the user’s browser that the file got successfully downloaded for which we charged the user.
- In case of any mistake, the entire transaction / operation is safely returned to the last commit stage, the priced sum is returned to the Onshape account of the respective user.
